Despite the fact that IKEA was in search of a bean-to-cup solution for a new coffee-to-go concept, our team in China saw an open opportunity in the IKEA stores and offered a solution to the newly on-boarded IKEA F&B manager.
The proposal consisted of two different offers: Espresso coffee as the coffee-to-go solution and Cafitesse for an enjoyable and refillable cup of coffee free of charge for the customers.
Guess what! This proposal led to a big success! Steven Lee, our Professional Business Manager for Greater China, and his team convinced the customer with the coffee quality and convenience of Cafitesse. They landed a deal of placing 6 Quantum 120 machines in each IKEA store. Our ambition is to present in all 25 IKEA stores in China in just a few years.
